Veteran's Day 2024
October 29, 2024
At Piada, we are deeply honored to have veterans as a part of our team. Their service to our country has instilled in them qualities of dedication, resilience, and teamwork. We are immensely grateful for their continued commitment and want to highlight some of those individuals this Veteran’s Day.
We asked each veteran on our team the same important question, "what does service mean to you?"
Daryl A. | Air Force Veteran, 4 Years Served
Partner, Grove City
“Service to me means sacrifice. Myself and all those that served along side me, sacrificed our youth, our time, our motivations for self and our lives and limbs in some cases. All for the belief that we are the few willing to make those sacrifices for our country and without us this wouldn’t be the nation that it is.”
Humberto D. | Army Veteran, 7 Years Served
Chef, Grand Morton
“Have the opportunity to serve someone other than myself.”
Steven L. | Army Veteran, 6 Years Served
Chef, Med Center
“The willing, who put other before themselves. having the integrity to do what's right even without the recognition.”
Cole R. | Air Force, 8 Years and Still in Active Duty
Training Content Specialist, Piada Support Center
“Sacrifice, integrity, and camaraderie. It is a brother/sisterhood.”
